KidZania Tokyo

キッザニア東京

Toyosu · near Toyosu Station (Yurakucho Line / Yurikamome), 8 min walk

Kid-sized role-play 'city' where children work real-ish jobs — firefighter, pilot, surgeon, sushi chef, TV reporter, delivery driver — earning KidZania currency they can spend or save. Runs on fixed changeover shifts.

Why children love it: They wear real uniforms, do genuine hands-on tasks, and earn and spend their own money; enormously immersive and imaginative.

Honest drawbacks: Most activities are in Japanese (only 'English Wednesday' runs many jobs in English); popular jobs need queuing and reservations; strict shift/changeover system; adults are largely spectators.
