Free museum of Tokyo firefighting history and safety, with vintage and modern fire engines, a real rescue helicopter kids can sit in, Edo-era firefighting displays, and hands-on safety/simulation exhibits.
Why children love it: Climbing into a real helicopter and fire trucks, dress-up firefighter gear, dioramas and buttons — a big hit with vehicle-loving kids, and it's free.
Honest drawbacks: Labels mostly in Japanese; closed Mondays; more history/display than high-tech interactivity on the upper floors.
