Asakusa Amezaiku Ameshin (candy-craft workshop)

浅草 飴細工アメシン

Asakusa · near Asakusa Station

A workshop by renowned amezaiku (Japanese candy-sculpture) artisans. In roughly 1.5–2 hours you sculpt a rabbit from a single mass of warm candy. Held at the Asakusa (Hanakawado) shop.

Why children love it: Shape a lump of hot candy into a lifelike rabbit with scissors and bare hands, then take the edible sculpture home.
